Diamonds Are a Quality Manager’s Best Friend
Several months ago, Pankl Racing Systems in Austria equipped its coordinate measuring machines with a solid-diamond stylus. This has proved to be the right decision: Pankl reports reduced wear, greater precision and less machine downtime. The Austrian company has also started using a diamond-coated stylus from ZEISS and has nothing but good news to report.

We’ve been juggling a lot of balls at DD Technologies over the past years, but this has now reached a new dimension. Literally.
Thousands of diamond spheres have been sold in the past 10 years, which are mainly used in measurement applications. In addition to this measurement industry, the diamond spheres are used in many other products as well.
First DD Diamond growing reactor in operation
Due to increasing demand and the need to further optimize existing processes DD felt compelled to expand their capacity with its own reactor. The machine is installed in Augsburg (DE) and is the crowning glory on the intensive and pleasant cooperation between the team of Augsburg Diamond Technology (DE) and DD Technologies in Cuijk (NL).
Innovative diamond ball bearings
We are proud to announce we are involved in a prestigious Clean Sky 2 project, a sub-set of Horizon 2020 which is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme. Together with Rolls-Royce and the University of Oxford we are working on innovative diamond bearings. With this innovation, bearings would have lower friction, better temperature characteristics and a longer life due to the increased hardness capability.

Dutch Dia mond Techno logies slaagde er als eerste ter wereld in een ring te maken die helemaal uit lab-grown diamant bestaat. Het bedrijf maakte de ‘all diamond’ ring ter gelegenheid van het tienjarige bestaan. Een uniek sieraad dat de slogan van het bedrijf, ‘Diamonds, the other way around’, eer aan doet.

Dutch Diamond Technologies BV is able to produce monocrystalline discs with unique dimensions!
Recently, we have had a development in our company enabling us to produce monocrystalline discs with unique dimensions. Instead of the usual maximum size of 8 millimetres we are now able to deliver discs of up to 30 millimetres. DD is the first company in the world to produce these large discs. The unique dimensions provide new opportunities to our customers.
Dutch Diamond Technologies BV announces a new generation valves and seats made out of diamond
DD is pleased to announce that they have launched another product line: a superior version of valves and seats. This type of product can be used in a wide range of applications, whenever extreme dispensing of a specific fluid is necessary. For example, 3D-printing, dispensing brazing or gluing material in a production line or dosing chemical fluids.

IMTS Chicago 2016
Dutch Diamond Technologies was part of the Holland High Tech pavillion at the IMTS in Chicago to show and promote their diamond possibilities. Together with 8 other Dutch high tech companies they showed how big such a small country can be in it’s industries and innovations.
