Carat & Co BV is the company behind PietrAverde, the luxury diamond brand dedicated to extraordinary jewellery and unique diamond objects.
PietrAverde explores what becomes possible when diamond becomes the starting point of a design. In our creations, diamond is not treated as decoration added to an object, it is the leading material that defines the object itself.
This vision is expressed in creations such as The All Diamond Ring and in selected bespoke projects developed in close collaboration with exclusive clients and trusted suppliers.
Besides our own lab-grown diamond creations, Carat & Co is also involved in highly exclusive projects using natural diamonds. On request, we process natural diamond or perform selected partial operations using our non-traditional diamond techniques. These projects require the highest standards of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
Our work combines exceptional diamond material, advanced diamond expertise and traditional craftsmanship. Many of our most innovative projects are confidential and created only for selected partners or private commissions.

In 2019, The All Diamond Ring received worldwide press attention and was subsequently presented at the Jewellery & Gem Fair in Hong Kong. Since 2023, this exclusive piece has been on display at the DIVA Diamond Museum in Antwerp, where it can be seen as an example of what becomes possible when diamond, design and technical craftsmanship come together.
With over 45 years of experience in the diamond industry, I have seen diamond evolve from a traditional precious stone into one of the most fascinating materials for innovation, design and craftsmanship.
Together with my team at Dutch Diamond Group, I bring together traditional diamond knowledge, precision engineering and a forward-looking vision on both natural and lab-grown diamond.
Our ambition is to explore what becomes possible when diamond is not merely added to a creation, but becomes the essence of the design itself.
