Our windows are polished to the highest industry standards. Using high-end white light interferometry we are able to perform superior surface characterization at micro- and nano-scale level. When requested, we’ll add a measurement report to the products ordered. Other shapes than a square are possible as well, such as rectangular and round shapes. Standard tolerances on our optical windows can be seen in the document below, but please feel free to ask us about the highest achievable tolerances to take your application to a higher level.

Superior diamond surface characterization
In order to improve our diamond outgoing QC, we installed a high-end optical surface profiler two years ago. With this measurement system we are able to perform superior surface characterization at micro- and nano-scale level. This not only ensures our output quality, but helps us with R&D projects as well. Improving process parameters has become easier as we can exactly measure what we’re doing. As can be seen on the measurement example, nanometer roughness and -flatness can be achieved with our technologies, depending on the diamond dimensions.
